How we work
Every project begins with a conversation and unfolds through collaboration, clarity, and care. Our process is designed to create space for thoughtful decision-making, respectful storytelling, and work that feels considered at every stage.
Start a conversation
During pre-production, Draftpic will work with you to plan your video project. We meet first to learn about your vision so that we can jointly develop a creative brief.
From there we’ll handle all the nitty gritty including writing the script, onboarding talent, and booking locations.
Prior to scheduling the shoot and bringing your idea to life, Draftpic will offer a thorough quote for the project.
Shaping the approach
From there, we work closely with you to shape an approach that fits the context, the people involved, and how the work will be used. This stage is collaborative by design - allowing space to clarify intent, refine ideas, and make considered decisions before anything is captured.
Production with care
On filming days, our role is to work carefully within real environments - adapting to people, spaces, and circumstances as they are.
We arrive aligned on the plan, flexible in execution, and attentive to the people involved. Our aim is to remain calm, prepared, and unobtrusive, ensuring everyone feels respected and supported while the work is carried out.
Editing with intention, delivery with clarity
Editing is where the story takes its final shape. We approach post-production with the same care as filming - reviewing material thoughtfully, shaping narratives with restraint, and ensuring the final piece reflects both the subject and the purpose of the work.
We work collaboratively through this stage, sharing cuts, welcoming feedback, and refining details until the work feels resolved rather than rushed.
Delivery is handled clearly and reliably, with formats prepared for their intended platforms and timelines agreed upfront.
The result is work that feels considered from beginning to end - not just completed, but finished with care.
